HeadCount Announces New Low Cost, High Accuracy Retail Traffic Counting Solution

HeadCount Systems, the leading provider of customer counting solutions, recently announced the availability of their new retail traffic counting solution.

Oculus is the latest innovation from HeadCount. It is a highly accurate, cost effective and an aesthetically pleasing retail traffic counter. Oculus unobtrusively detects the motion of people utilizing a patented pattern recognition algorithm.

Oculus is a monocular camera based system that captures video from an overhead viewpoint and processes it to count the people that pass through the count zone. "When talking with customers, we found a demand for accurate, aesthetic and cost effective retail store counting solutions.
